Students in the first year of the BSW program should follow the program plan of study.

It is important to consult with your advisor regarding electives in the program. Please attend a planning session each semester to discuss what is needed to graduate.

Planning group sessions will be conducted by each semester prior to registration. Each student must attend and complete a plan of study, to assure she/he is on track for timely graduation. Notice of sessions will be sent to the email list and also posted at this site.

As each student's plan is a little different, remember that your requirements may differ from other students' requirements regarding electives. Requirements also differ according to assigned catalog year. Check for yourself and work with your advisor.

Register for the University Writing Exam (UWE) - ENG 189.99, if you have not done so already. By taking it now, you will not have to worry about it in your senior year, when you are off/on campus. The exam is a one-day, two-hour session. You should register for ENG 189.99 for the day you wish to take the exam.
