  • All General Education courses must be complete before program entry
  • Foundation courses
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Grade of "C" or higher for all major required courses (foundation courses).

Please apply by the due date even if your general education courses will not be completed until spring 2007. We will verify your registration. Each program entrant's status is reviewed before fall classes begin for all program requirements.

Advisement Sessions

Sophomores admitted to the BSW program (those who have received notice of formal admission) need to attend planning group sessions before registration each semester. Notice of the sessions will be posted and sent to the e-mail list for BSWs. You must attend a meeting to be able to register for any SWK courses and to make sure you are on track with your general education requirements and other prerequisites for the major. will assist you in this process.
