Thank you for thinking of ISU for your Master of Social Work (MSW) degree! We are proud of our MSW program and hope that you will feel find answers to most of your questions as you look over our website. The Master of Social Work program consists of 60 semester hours of classroom study and field education. Students admitted to the program with a BSW from a CSWE accredited school are eligible for advanced standing and take 36 hours of coursework.

Although the school values life experience, academic credit cannot be granted for non-academic activity.

Applications for the 08-09 academic year are no longer being accepted. The 2009-2010 application process will begin September 1, 2008 and continue until the program is full. No applications will be accepted after January 15th, 2009.
