More than 2000 Illinois State University alumni have graduated with Bachelor or Master of Social Work degrees.

Illinois State Social Work alumni can be found in many public and private organizations or institutions. They work in all areas of Social Work, including child protective services, hospitals, hospice, domestic violence services, agencies providing service to individuals who are homeless, policy making agencies, research institutions, prisons and other areas of corrections, adoption services, schools, public welfare agencies, nursing homes, independent and assisted living facilities, mental health services, substance abuse, private practice, family counseling, local and state government, forensics, rehabilitation veterans services, developmental disabilities support, Head Start, early childhood intervention, aging and gerontology services, and community organization. In short, alumni from Illinois State University's School of Social Work can be found in almost every area of the profession, helping people across the entire life span.

Wherever their paths have led, alumni carry professional skills acquired at Illinois State University and the School of Social Work. We are honored to have participated in the development of each graduate and hope this Web site will be a useful tool for our alumni.
